FAQs
How long is Sindhri season?
About 4-5 weeks total — from June 20 through approximately July 25. Sindhri has one of the shortest commercial mango seasons of any variety, which is why it commands premium pricing.
Why is Sindhri only available in June and July?
Sindhri is genetically an early-summer variety perfectly adapted to Sindh's extreme heat (45-50°C). The fruit develops in March, ripens in May, and harvests in late June. The growing window is naturally short.
Can I buy Sindhri after July?
Fresh Sindhri ends in late July. After that, frozen Sindhri pulp (made during peak season) is available year-round. Quality is excellent for lassi and ice cream but not for fresh-eating.
