How Sweet Are Our Mangoes?
Every mango ripens a little differently, but our premium Pakistani varieties — Chaunsa, Anwar Ratol, and Sindhri — typically measure around 20–24 °Bx (Brix, a standard measure of sugar content), placing them among the sweetest mangoes in the world. Peak-ripe fruit sits at the high end of that range. For context, most mangoes worldwide fall between 12 and 20 °Bx.
Multan’s 45°C+ summers and potassium-rich Chenab alluvial soil drive this concentrated sweetness.
The MMA Farms Story
Multan has been called the “City of Mangoes” for as long as anyone can remember. In the heart of southern Punjab, its rich alluvial soil, extreme summer heat, and centuries of cultivation expertise produce what many consider the finest mangoes on Earth.
MMA Farms was founded by Malik Muneeb Altafwith one mission: bring the authentic taste of Multan’s orchards directly to mango lovers — without chemicals, without middlemen, and without compromising on quality. The family has grown mangoes in Multan for generations; this is a heritage passed down orchard by orchard, season by season, not learned from a textbook.
What sets the farm apart is an absolute commitment to 100% carbide-free mangoes. While many sellers use calcium carbide to force-ripen fruit, MMA Farms lets every mango ripen naturally — on the tree or through traditional methods — for the full depth of flavour, sweetness, and aroma nature intended. Operations follow Pakistan Food Authority guidelines, and export consignments carry phytosanitary certification.
