White Chaunsa Mosami mango — King of Mangoes from MMA Farms Multan

Why Chaunsa is the King

Highest Brix of any Pakistani variety

Our White Chaunsa Mosami tests 20-22 Brix; Nawab Puri reaches 22-24 Brix. That's significantly sweeter than typical Sindhri (18-22) or Anwar Ratol (18-21). Sweetness you can taste, not just claim.

Aroma you can smell from the next room

A ripe Chaunsa releases volatile aromatics — terpenes and esters — that fill an entire room. It's the only Pakistani mango with this level of fragrance. When your delivery arrives, you'll smell it before you open the box.

Fiberless flesh, butter texture

Chaunsa flesh contains almost no fiber — under 5% of the volume that you'll find in older or lower-quality varieties. The result is a texture so smooth it spoons like custard. Perfect for eating fresh, and the only choice for premium milkshakes and kulfi bases.

Mid-season + late-season coverage

White Chaunsa Mosami fills July through early September. Nawab Puri picks up from August into late September. With both, you get 12 weeks of continuous Chaunsa supply — long after Sindhri and Langra have ended.

Multan-direct, no mandi handling

Our orchards are 30 minutes from our packhouse. From tree to your door, the fruit is handled by our team only — no mandi loaders, no carbide exposure, no warehouse holding. Each box is traceable to the orchard block where it was harvested.

Pre-order pricing locks in 10% off

Pre-order customers lock today's price even if peak-season demand pushes spot prices up. Plus you're guaranteed first-pick from the earliest harvests when fruit quality peaks. Last year, our Nawab Puri sold out in 4 days at peak season.

Chaunsa Buying FAQ

Why is Chaunsa called the King of Mangoes?

Chaunsa earned its 'King of Mangoes' title for three reasons. First, its aroma is the most powerful of any Pakistani mango — a single ripe Chaunsa fills an entire room. Second, its flesh is fiberless and creamy, the textural gold standard that other varieties are measured against. Third, its sugar content reaches 22-24 Brix at peak ripeness, the highest sustained sweetness of any Pakistani commercial variety. The Mughal emperor Sher Shah Suri is said to have given it the name 'Chaunsa' after victory at the Battle of Chausa in 1539, and the variety has been Pakistan's premium export mango ever since.

What's the difference between White Chaunsa, Black Chaunsa, and Nawab Puri?

These are subtypes of the Chaunsa family. White Chaunsa Mosami (mid-season, ripens July 10) is the original — golden-yellow skin when ripe, intensely aromatic, peak Brix 22. Nawab Puri (late-season, ripens August 10) is a White Chaunsa subtype with a longer shelf-life and slightly higher Brix at 22-24, popular for late-season gifting. Black Chaunsa is a regional variation with darker skin and earlier ripening, less common in commercial markets. We supply both White Chaunsa Mosami (peak season) and Nawab Puri (late season) — together they cover July through late September.

When is Chaunsa season in Pakistan?

Chaunsa peaks from July 10 to September 25 in Pakistan. White Chaunsa Mosami arrives first (July 10 - September 5), followed by Nawab Puri (August 10 - September 25). MMA Farms Chaunsa pre-orders open in March each year for the following season. Pre-order customers get first-pick access to peak-Brix fruit from the earliest harvests.

How much does a Chaunsa box cost?

Our 2026 pricing: 5kg Chaunsa premium box from Rs 2,450, 10kg premium box from Rs 4,750. Pre-order customers lock 10% off the in-season price. Free delivery on 10kg+ orders within Pakistan. International shipping (UAE/Saudi/UK/USA/Canada/Australia) is calculated separately based on destination.

Is your Chaunsa carbide-free?

100% carbide-free, guaranteed. We pick mangoes at 80-85% natural maturity — never green — so they need no chemical ripening. Final ripening happens naturally in our packhouse using traditional rice-husk and paper methods, with controlled-temperature storage. Calcium carbide ripening (banned by Pakistan's Punjab Pure Food Rules) damages flavor, texture, and creates measurable health risks. We take pride in being part of Pakistan's growing carbide-free farming movement.

How fast can you deliver Chaunsa to my city?

Same-day dispatch from our Multan packhouse, with delivery times by city: Lahore (1 day), Islamabad/Rawalpindi (1-2 days), Karachi (2-3 days), Faisalabad/Multan (same day or next-day), Peshawar/Quetta (2-3 days). All deliveries through TCS or Leopards Express with full WhatsApp tracking. International orders: UAE/Saudi (3-5 days via DHL/courier), UK/USA/Canada (5-10 days).

Can I taste Chaunsa before placing a large order?

Yes. We offer single-box trial orders for first-time customers. Many of our retail and corporate gifting clients start with a 5kg or 10kg trial box to evaluate fruit quality and ripeness consistency before committing to bulk orders. For corporate and wholesale buyers, we also send sample boxes (paid) to your office address ahead of finalizing larger orders.

What's the Brix level of your Chaunsa?

Our White Chaunsa Mosami consistently tests 20-22 Brix at dispatch (peak ripeness). Nawab Puri tests 22-24 Brix at peak. We use a calibrated refractometer at the packhouse — every batch is sample-tested before dispatch. For comparison: typical supermarket Chaunsa tests 16-19 Brix because the fruit was picked too early. Our higher Brix is the result of farm-direct, no-mandi supply chain.
