Chaunsa FAQs

What is Chaunsa mango?

Chaunsa is Pakistan's most celebrated mango variety, grown mainly in the Multan belt of southern Punjab. It is prized for its fibre-free, custard-like flesh, intense floral-honey aroma and very high sweetness (Brix around 20-23). It ripens late in the season, roughly mid-July through September.

Why is Chaunsa called the king of mangoes?

Chaunsa combines very high sweetness, a powerful aroma, smooth fiberless flesh and a small thin seed all at once. That rare combination, plus how well it travels, is why it is widely regarded as the king among Pakistani mangoes.

When is Chaunsa season in Pakistan?

Chaunsa is a late-season mango, generally available from about July through September depending on the sub-type and how far south the orchard sits. Our White Chaunsa (Mosami) is one of the latest and sweetest.

Where can I buy fresh Chaunsa online?

You can order fresh, carbide-free Chaunsa directly from our family farm in Multan for delivery across Pakistan, with next-day service to many cities. See our White Chaunsa product pages and per-city delivery pages above.
