How to Send Mangoes to Multiple Cities in Pakistan from Abroad

By MMA Farms·

You know the drill. Mango season starts, and suddenly your delivery list looks like a logistics spreadsheet:

  • Ammi and Abbu in Lahore
  • Susral (in-laws) in Karachi
  • Sister and her family in Islamabad
  • Phuppo (aunt) in Faisalabad
  • Best friend from college in Multan
  • That uncle in Peshawar who always asks "beta, when are you sending mangoes?"

Six addresses. Three provinces. One season. And you are sitting in London or Toronto or Dubai trying to coordinate all of it from a phone screen.

Every year, thousands of overseas Pakistanis face exactly this challenge. They want to send mangoes to everyone they love — but everyone they love is scattered across Pakistan in different cities, each with different delivery logistics, different taste preferences, and different expectations.

This guide is for you. We are going to break down exactly how to send mangoes to multiple cities in Pakistan in one organized, stress-free process.

Step 1: Make Your List (Yes, an Actual List)

Before you contact any mango delivery service, sit down and make a proper list. This sounds obvious, but the number of customers who call us mid-season saying "Oh, I forgot about my cousin in Rawalpindi" is remarkably high.

Here is what your list should include for each recipient:

#RecipientCityPhoneVariety PreferenceBox SizeNotes
1ParentsLahore+92-XXX-XXXXXXXChaunsa (always)5 kgAbbu is diabetic — include Langra (lower sugar)
2In-lawsKarachi+92-XXX-XXXXXXXSindhri8 kgLarge family, need bigger box
3SisterIslamabad+92-XXX-XXXXXXXAnwar Ratol3 kgJust her and husband, small box is fine
4AuntFaisalabad+92-XXX-XXXXXXXAny variety5 kgNot picky, just wants mangoes
5FriendMultan+92-XXX-XXXXXXXNo need — he lives in Multan!Send him dates instead
6UnclePeshawar+92-XXX-XXXXXXXChaunsa5 kgDeliver before Friday (his day off)

Writing this out before you order saves time, prevents forgotten recipients, and lets you customize each box appropriately. Share this list with us via WhatsApp or email, and we handle the rest.

(And yes, number 5 is a joke — but also, genuinely, your friend in Multan is probably fine.)

Step 2: Understand the City Delivery Map

Pakistan's mango delivery logistics vary by city. Here is an honest overview of what to expect:

Tier 1: Same-Day / Next-Day Delivery

Lahore, Karachi, Islamabad, Rawalpindi, Faisalabad, Multan

These are the major metropolitan areas where we have established delivery networks. Orders placed before noon are typically delivered the same day or next morning. These cities account for about 70% of our multi-city orders.

Tier 2: 1-2 Day Delivery

Peshawar, Sialkot, Gujranwala, Hyderabad, Quetta, Abbottabad, Sahiwal, Bahawalpur

Major secondary cities where we deliver regularly but may need an extra day for routing. Delivery is reliable but requires slightly more lead time.

Tier 3: 2-3 Day Delivery

Smaller cities and towns across Punjab, Sindh, and KPK

For cities not in Tier 1 or 2, we can still deliver — but lead time increases to 2-3 days, and we may need to coordinate with local courier partners. Contact us to confirm availability for specific locations.

Explore delivery options for specific cities on our delivery pages.

What About Remote Areas?

For truly remote areas (northern areas, rural Balochistan, parts of tribal regions), mango delivery is challenging due to the perishable nature of the product and limited cold chain infrastructure. We are honest about this — if we cannot guarantee quality delivery to a location, we will tell you rather than risk sending mangoes that arrive in poor condition.

Step 3: The Multi-Address Order Process

Here is exactly how a multi-city order works with us:

Single Order, Multiple Destinations

You place one order with all your addresses. We treat each destination as a separate fulfillment — meaning each box is packed, labeled, and dispatched individually based on the optimal timing for that city.

Why this matters: Mangoes going to Karachi and mangoes going to Islamabad may travel different routes and take different amounts of time. We pack each box at the right moment so every recipient gets mangoes at peak ripeness. A box going to Karachi (same-day delivery) might be packed at a riper stage than a box going to Peshawar (2-day delivery), which we send slightly firmer so it ripens perfectly in transit.

The Spreadsheet Method (For Large Orders)

For customers sending to 5+ addresses, we offer what we call the "spreadsheet method":

  1. We send you a simple template (Excel or Google Sheets) with columns for: recipient name, phone, city, full address, variety preference, box size, delivery date preference, and personal message
  2. You fill it in at your leisure — no pressure, no phone calls
  3. You send it back to us
  4. We confirm everything, provide a total quote, and handle all logistics

This method is particularly popular with customers who send mangoes as corporate gifts to multiple employees or as family gifts to a large extended family. Some of our customers fill in 20-30 rows. One customer last year had 47 addresses. We delivered to every single one.

Staggered Deliveries

Not everyone needs their mangoes on the same day. In fact, staggering deliveries through the season is a smart strategy:

  • Early season (June): Send Langra and Sindhri to recipients who love these varieties
  • Mid-season (July): Send White Chaunsa Mosami — the peak season crowd-pleaser
  • Late season (August-September): Send Nawab Puri to the connoisseurs who know this is the best

Staggering also means your family members are getting fresh mangoes at multiple points during the season rather than one large box that they have to eat quickly. It extends the joy — and it extends your presence in their lives across the entire summer.

Step 4: Coordinating Delivery Timing

The biggest logistical challenge with multi-city orders is timing. You want everyone to receive their mangoes when someone is home to accept delivery. Here are our strategies:

Phone coordination. For every delivery, we call the recipient 30-60 minutes before arrival to confirm someone is home. If no one is available, we reschedule for the same day or next morning.

Preferred time slots. When you place your order, tell us if any recipient has specific timing needs. "My mother-in-law is only home after 2 PM." "My sister works from home so any time is fine." "My uncle is retired and gets annoyed if you ring the bell before 10 AM." We accommodate all of this.

Surprise vs. informed. Some customers want the delivery to be a complete surprise. Others prefer that we inform the recipient in advance. Both approaches work — just let us know your preference for each address.

Weekend vs. weekday. Friday deliveries in Pakistan can be tricky (Juma prayers, reduced business hours). Saturday is ideal for families. If your recipient works a standard Mon-Sat schedule, coordinate for a time when they are relaxed and can appreciate the gift properly.

Step 5: Payment for Multi-City Orders

The payment process for multi-city orders is the same as single orders, just with a larger total. You pay once, for all boxes, in a single transaction. We do not charge separate delivery fees for each city — delivery within our Tier 1 and Tier 2 cities is included in the box price.

For pricing on multi-city orders, especially bulk quantities, visit our international ordering page.

Volume discounts apply: If your total order across all addresses exceeds 10 boxes in a season, bulk pricing kicks in automatically. This is a significant advantage of consolidating your family's mango orders through a single provider rather than making individual purchases from different vendors.

Step 6: Tracking and Confirmation

For multi-city orders, we provide a delivery tracker — a simple shared document (WhatsApp or email) that shows:

  • Each recipient's name and city
  • Scheduled delivery date
  • Current status (packed / dispatched / out for delivery / delivered)
  • Delivery confirmation (photo of the box at the doorstep, if requested)

Many customers share this tracker with their family WhatsApp group, so everyone can see when their box is coming. It builds anticipation and turns the mango delivery into a shared family event, even when the family is spread across six cities and three continents.

Real Talk: Common Multi-City Challenges

"My mother says the mangoes I sent to her were not as good as the ones my brother sent." This happens. Sometimes it is a genuine quality variation (mangoes are natural products — no two boxes are identical). Sometimes it is a diplomatic way of saying your brother's box was bigger. Our recommendation: always send your parents the premium variety (Anwar Ratol or Chaunsa). No one ever complained about receiving Anwar Ratol.

"My in-laws say they did not receive their box but the tracking shows delivered." This has happened exactly twice in our history, and both times the box had been accepted by a neighbor who forgot to pass it along. Our phone confirmation before delivery has essentially eliminated this issue, but we always investigate and make it right.

"I want to send to 8 addresses but my budget is tight." We work with you. Maybe 5 addresses get 5 kg boxes and 3 addresses get 3 kg boxes. Maybe you send premium varieties to parents and standard varieties to friends. We help you allocate your budget across addresses to maximize the impact.

"Can I add addresses mid-season?" Absolutely. Many customers start with 3-4 addresses in June and add more as the season progresses. "Oh, I forgot about my cousin in Gujranwala" is a message we receive every week during season. No problem — we add them to your order.

The Family WhatsApp Group Effect

Here is something we have observed over years of multi-city deliveries: the moment the first family member receives their box and posts a photo in the family WhatsApp group, our phones light up with "add one more address" messages.

Uncle in Peshawar posts a photo of his Chaunsa. Cousin in Sialkot comments "Where are MY mangoes?" You message us: "Can you add Sialkot?" We say yes. By mid-July, your original 4-address order has grown to 8.

This is the WhatsApp group effect, and we love it. It means the mangoes are good enough that people are asking for them. Plan for it — budget a little extra, because your mango delivery list will almost certainly grow during the season.
