Pakistani Mango Season 2026: When to Order If You're Living Abroad

By MMA Farms·

Every year, the same thing happens. The Pakistani mango season arrives, overseas Pakistanis scramble to order, the best varieties sell out, and thousands of people are left saying "I should have ordered earlier." This guide is here to make sure that does not happen to you in 2026.

Whether you are in Dubai, London, New York, Toronto, or Sydney, this is your complete timing guide for the 2026 mango season.

The 2026 Season Overview

The Pakistani mango season runs approximately 14 weeks, from mid-June through September. Each variety has its own specific window, and once that window closes, you have to wait until next year. There are no extensions, no rain checks, and no exceptions.

This is what makes Pakistani mangoes special — and what makes timing your order so important.

Variety-by-Variety Timeline

Langra: Mid-June to Early July (Approximately June 15 - July 5)

Langra is always the first variety of the season. When Langra arrives, it is the official signal that summer has begun. This variety stays green even when fully ripe (do not wait for yellow), has a distinctive tangy-sweet flavor with citrus notes, and is available in generous quantities.

When to pre-order: June 1-10. Langra is the most widely available variety, so supply is usually sufficient. But if you want first-week delivery — the freshest, most exciting Langra of the year — pre-order early.

Best for: Large families, tangy-sweet lovers, first-of-the-season excitement.

Sindhri: Late June to Mid-July (Approximately June 25 - July 15)

Sindhri overlaps with Langra but starts about 10 days later. This is Pakistan's sweetest mango — large, golden, honey-sweet, and fiberless. It is the most popular gift variety because it looks as stunning as it tastes.

When to pre-order: June 15-20. Sindhri is a high-demand variety, especially for gifting. Corporate orders can deplete stock quickly, so individual customers should not wait until the last minute.

Best for: Gift boxes, professional gifting, anyone who loves pure sweetness.

Anwar Ratol: Late June to Late July (Approximately June 25 - July 25)

The connoisseur's mango. Small in size but enormous in flavor and aroma. Anwar Ratol is the most sought-after variety among mango purists, and supply never meets demand. This variety sells out every single year without exception.

When to pre-order: June 10-15. This is not a suggestion — it is a necessity. Anwar Ratol has the highest demand-to-supply ratio of any Pakistani mango variety. If you wait until July to order, you may find it is already sold out.

Best for: Parents, connoisseurs, anyone who values aroma and intensity over size.

White Chaunsa Mosami: Early July to Early August (Approximately July 5 - August 5)

Multan's signature mango. Silky, refined, and elegant — White Chaunsa Mosami has a custard-like texture and delicate floral sweetness that puts it in a class of its own.

When to pre-order: June 25 - July 1. Chaunsa season begins after the early varieties are established, so you have a bit more lead time. But do not confuse "more time" with "unlimited time."

Best for: Refined palates, first-time recipients, Multan loyalists.

12 Number Ratol: Late July to Mid-August (Approximately July 20 - August 15)

The premium, larger cousin of Anwar Ratol. The "12 Number" grading indicates top-tier selection for size, flavor, and quality. This variety offers the Ratol experience in a more substantial package.

When to pre-order: July 10-15. By this point in the season, you are a seasoned mango orderer and know the drill.

Best for: Those who love Ratol flavor but want bigger fruit, premium gifting.

White Chaunsa Nawab Puri: August to September (Approximately August 1 - September 15)

The grand finale. Nawab Puri is the last mango of the season, arriving when months of intense Pakistani summer heat have concentrated sugars to their absolute maximum. The result is the richest, deepest sweetness of any mango — almost caramel-like. Many consider this the finest mango variety in the world.

When to pre-order: July 15-25. Nawab Puri is produced in limited quantities, and serious mango lovers book their boxes weeks in advance. By August, the best batches are often spoken for.

Best for: The ultimate mango experience, end-of-season celebration, impressing someone who has tried everything.

Time Zone Considerations for Overseas Orders

If you are ordering from abroad, remember that Pakistan Standard Time (PKT, UTC+5) affects when your order is processed and when delivery is scheduled.

Gulf States (Saudi Arabia, UAE, Qatar, Kuwait)

  • Time difference: PKT is 0-2 hours behind Gulf time
  • Practical impact: Minimal. Orders placed in the evening in the Gulf are processed the same business day in Pakistan.
  • Tip: Order in the morning Gulf time for same-day processing.

United Kingdom

  • Time difference: PKT is 5 hours ahead of BST (summer)
  • Practical impact: Orders placed in the UK evening are processed the next morning in Pakistan.
  • Tip: Order before noon UK time for same-day processing in Pakistan.

United States (Eastern)

  • Time difference: PKT is 9 hours ahead of EDT (summer)
  • Practical impact: Orders placed in the US morning are processed the same evening in Pakistan. US evening orders are next-day.
  • Tip: Order during your morning for fastest turnaround.

United States (Pacific)

  • Time difference: PKT is 12 hours ahead of PDT
  • Practical impact: Essentially reversed schedules. Your evening is Pakistan's morning.
  • Tip: Evening orders in California are processed first thing in Pakistan — which is actually ideal.

Canada (Toronto)

  • Time difference: Same as US Eastern (PKT +9)
  • Tip: Same as US Eastern guidance.

Australia (Sydney)

  • Time difference: PKT is 5 hours behind AEST
  • Practical impact: Orders placed in the Australian evening are processed mid-morning in Pakistan.
  • Tip: Order before 2 PM Sydney time for same-business-day processing.

The Pre-Order Calendar: Set Your Reminders

Here is your practical calendar. We recommend setting phone reminders for these dates:

DateAction
June 1Pre-order window opens for Langra
June 10Pre-order Anwar Ratol (do NOT wait)
June 15Pre-order Sindhri
June 25Pre-order White Chaunsa Mosami
July 10Pre-order 12 Number Ratol
July 15Pre-order White Chaunsa Nawab Puri

Set these reminders now. Open your phone's calendar app and create six events. Future you will be grateful.

What Happens If You Miss the Window?

If your preferred variety has sold out, you have two options:

  1. Choose a different variety: There is almost always something available during the season. If Anwar Ratol is gone, 12 Number Ratol or White Chaunsa may still be available.
  1. Join the waitlist: Occasionally, additional supply becomes available when a harvest batch exceeds expectations. We notify waitlisted customers immediately.

But honestly? The best strategy is to not miss the window in the first place. Bookmark this guide. Set the reminders. Order early.

The Season-Long Strategy

For the truly dedicated mango lover — or the overseas Pakistani who wants to give their family the complete season experience — here is the ultimate strategy:

June: Send Langra (the exciting season opener) + Sindhri (the sweet blockbuster)

July: Send Anwar Ratol (the aromatic masterpiece) + White Chaunsa Mosami (the refined classic)

August: Send 12 Number Ratol (the premium choice) + White Chaunsa Nawab Puri (the grand finale)

Six deliveries across four months. Your family will talk about this for years. They will tell the neighbors. The neighbors will tell their children. You will become a legend.

Is this excessive? Perhaps. Is it worth it? Absolutely.

Start Planning Now

The 2026 season is approaching. The orchards in Multan are preparing. The trees are flowering. In a few weeks, the first green fruit will appear, and the countdown will begin.

Do not be the person who remembers mangoes in August when the best varieties are already gone. Be the person who planned ahead, ordered early, and gave their family the gift of a complete mango season.
